December Ke Dilbar Chapter 1

Date: 29^th December

Time: 6:00 p.m.

[In RM Khushi on a phone call]

Khushi: Ji bua ji, hum samajh sakte hai.. aap apna khayaal rakhiyega . Hum kal wahan kuch din k liye aa jayenge {yes buaji,i understand.. You plz take care of yourself.. I will come there tomorrow for a some days.}( looking towards nani ji who nodded her head in approval)

Bua Ji: Theek hai titaliyaa.Vo tuhaar amma babu ji bahar gae hai na ehi liye hum tumka bulavat rahe. Arnav ji ko bhi saath leti aana' bahut din hui gai hai unse mile hue..{its okay dear..actually your parents have gone out na,that's why i am calling you..and Ask Arnavji to join too,its been long time we have not seen him.}

[Listening to this Khushi was lost in the memories of the time she spend with her Arnav ji in Gupta house. The wedding function, the dance, him taking shower near the Handpump and finally the night when for the very first time they slept togetherlike an ordinary couple. She all over him' a blush appeared on her face]

Bua Ji: hello' hello.. are e sanka devi kahan kho gai?? Sasuraal jaakar bhi tohri sanak ka kaunhu illaj nai huaa' fir se arnav babua ke khayalon me kho gai rahi??'{my mad sankadevi,your still lost in his thoughts and drooling over Arnav Ji?} (giggling) bahut ishaq karti ho na unse'.  Hume pata raha isi liye hum Devyaani ji sepehle hi bol diye rahe damaad ji ko tumhre saath bhej de.

{you love him a lot na? I know,that's why i asked Devyani ji beforehand to send Arnav dear with you..}

Chalo ab hum phone rakkhat hai.. abhi bhi sharer me thori- thori harrarat(tiredness) hai.{okay.now i will keep the phone.. My body is still a bit tired..}

Nani ji: Khushi bitiya aap kal savere naashta karne ke baad chotte k saath aapan ghar chali jaiyega.{Khushi dear,you go with chotte in the morning only after doing breakfast..}

[After some minutes she realized what she has actually done]

Khushi: (to herself, putting her index finger in her mouth)Hey Devi  Maiyaa ye hamne kya kar diya??. Humne to Arnav ji se pooche bina hi bua ji ko haa kar di'.agar unhone hame mana kar diya to' ya fir agar vo hamse naraaz hue to??.  Khushi tu kitni badi paagal hai, bua ji sahi kehti hai teri sanak ka koi illaj nahi hai. Kam se kam haan karne se pehle eh baar apne laad governor se pooch leti' ab jhel. {oh DM,i confirmed my yes to buaji without concerning Arnavji.. What if he denies me to go there? What if he gets angry on me ? You are seriously mad Khushi.. Buaji is absolutely right,your going mad day by day,i should have asked Arnavji about his permit atleast once.Its all because of you khushi , now bear it...}

[It was night time now. As a result of the situation, Khushi prepared heap of jalebies n was munching them pacing in her bedroom restlessly. Just then she could sense him, his smell, his presence. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath n whisper]

Khushi: Arr.. navv.jii

(there he was huuging her from behind, his chin on her shoulders, smelling her scent)

Arnav: humm'.i missed u a lot today. Isi liye maine decide kiya hai ki parson hum poora time akele spend karenge. Pichli saal ki tarah is saal bhi mai raat 12 baje tumhara chehra dekhna chahta hu.{as i missed you a lot today.,i have decided to spend my whole day with you day after tomorrow... together.. Just like last year,i want to spend the end of this year with you,seeing your face at midnight 12.} My first new year with my wife alone in the farm house what say?. Saying this he nuzzled more into her.
